The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is committed to encouraging and producing public art to enhance our streetscape and create a thriving city center. ARTivation aims to bring energy to downtown’s pedestrian experience and celebrate the authentic creativity rooted throughout our community.

2025–2026 Installations

"Harmonies" by Le Monde

August 19th – October 5th, 2025

Experience music in a whole new way with Harmonies, an interactive installation of four large-scale musical instruments that play songs at the turn of a crank. Each piece harnesses the energy of human motion to bring music to life.

Starting with Live After 5 on August 20th, enjoy tunes from Chatham Rabbits and Jack the Radio, with festival-themed music from Hopscotch Music Festival and Wide Open Bluegrass following through the season.

Placed from City Plaza to Nash Square, Harmonies is designed to spread joy, celebrate live music, and guide visitors along their explorations in Downtown Raleigh.
