After an unforgettable playoff run that brought thousands of fans together for watch parties, packed patios, and unforgettable moments across the city, the celebration continues with the Carolina Hurricanes Championship Celebration on Saturday, June 20th, at 11am in Downtown Raleigh.
Whether you've been cheering on the Canes all season or you're joining the celebration for the first time, downtown is the place to be. Experience the championship atmosphere, explore local restaurants, breweries, bars, and shops, and be part of a historic day as Raleigh celebrates bringing the Stanley Cup back home for the first time in 20 years.

Parade Route
- Begins at the intersection of Hillsborough Street and St. Mary’s Street
- Proceeds east down Hillsborough Street toward the NC State Capitol
- Right on Salisbury Street, then left on Morgan Street
- Right onto Fayetteville Street, heading South
- Ends at Davie Street
Fan Rally Details
- The Parade will end in City Plaza with a Fan Rally to follow shortly after.
- Fans will hear from players, coaches, and special guests.
- Monitors will be placed along Fayetteville Street to display the Rally stage programming.
- Many local businesses will have extended hours and Canes specials for Parade attendees. See below for more information.
- The Rally stage program is expected to end by 2pm.
What to Expect
- Bags, chairs, and umbrellas are permitted.
- Portable bathrooms will be available along the route.
- Food trucks will have refreshments and beverages available for purchase.
- Outside alcohol is not allowed.
- No guns are allowed.
- Fayetteville Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the Parade and Rally.
Street Closures
Closures along the parade route will begin early Saturday morning between 3:30am-5:30am and continue through Saturday afternoon and early evening.
Timing of Parade and Rally
The parade will begin at 11am with a rally to follow on Fayetteville Street with the stage positioned on City Plaza and the entire street closed to accommodate the crowd. The rally is expected to end by 3pm.
Parking Information
We expect parking decks and lots in downtown to be in high demand and reach capacity.
All State-owned parking decks and lots will be free to the public.
And there will be 5 City of Raleigh-owned decks offering free parking for the celebration:
- Cabarrus St. Deck (436 S. Salisbury St.)
- Moore Square Deck (233 S. Wilmington St.)
- City Center Deck (429 S. Wilmington St.)
- City Hall/Municipal Parking Deck (201 W. Morgan St.)
- Wilmington St. Station Deck (117 S. Wilmington St.)
Additionally, the Performing Arts Center Deck and Convention Center Deck will cost $10 for the day.
Note that the Blount Street Deck is closed to the public on weekends and not available for Parade or Rally parking.
