Kiara's Artist Statement: "I was born and raised in Raleigh, surrounded by both oaks and city streets, which spoke to the side of me that loves nature and also the side that loves the city culture. The state birds that are flying in the skyline are the nature, and the children are there to remind us not to be so realistic and sober, to carry a sense of wonder at the city's diversity."
