Submit An Event 


PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR EVENT

The online Downtown Raleigh Events Calendar is used to promote events and activities taking place in Downtown Raleigh and virtually, hosted by Downtown Raleigh businesses. This calendar listing and promotions opportunity is a free service provided by Downtown Raleigh Alliance.

For consideration, events MUST meet the criteria listed below:

To submit an event, you will be asked to register an account and must verify it via email confirmation; if you did not receive a confirmation, search for "Citylight" or check your Junk folder.

Once you are registered, you will be able to submit your events for DRA's General Calendar and First Friday Calendar. Your submission will then be manually reviewed by a DRA staff member. If your event meets the specified guidelines and there are no questions, it will be automatically added to the events calendar. After you make an account, you will be able to log-in as often as necessary to submit events.

Important:

  • Downtown Raleigh Alliance maintains full editorial control over all submitted events, including the right to exclude events as necessary.
  • Please allow up to 1-2 business days for your event to appear on our site. We will review events everyday during DRA's office hours 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, not including Federal/State holidays.
  • If you submit an event for First Friday after 12pm the Thursday before, we cannot guarantee inclusion in the First Friday Newsletter.
  • You cannot change your account email after creating one. If you need to change the attached venue or email, you'll need to make a new account.
