Join us LIVE on June 4 at 6:00 p.m. for a special Virtual First Friday event to close out the school year. United Arts Council's Annual Writers Share will showcase student writers from Wake County Schools who participated in our Artists in Schools program. Together with their teaching artists, the students will read a piece of work that was created during their virtual writer residency.
The evening will begin with special remarks from Wake County Public School Board Member, Christine Kushner. The Writers Share teaching artists include Mimi Herman, Diane Silcox Jarrett, Michael Beadle, Tony Peacock, and Regie Cabico.
