Raleigh’s Vidrio restaurant is hosting a “Taste Tour of the Mediterranean” monthly dinner series. The destination and menu inspiration will change each month and we work our way through the Mediterranean. The next destination: Croatia! The dinner will be from 6:30-9 p.m. July 28, 2022. Tickets are $85, plus tax and gratuity.
Join us and immerse yourself in an exclusive multi-course cultural dinner experience filled with authentic and elevated Croatian cuisine hosted by NC Chef of the Year Saif Rahman.
To Start:
Prosciutto, olives and cheese
Srdele na Savor – roasted sardines with pickled onion and olives
Salata od Hobotnice – Croatian octopus salad
Main:
Chicken Peka – slow roasted chicken with sausage, peppers and seasonal vegetables
Brudet – fisherman’s stew of mussels, shrimp and sausage
Dalmatinska Pašticada – braised beef, pancetta, prunes, fresh herbs and gnocchi
Black risotto – cuttlefish, squid ink and red wine
Vegetables:
Grah – Croatian bean stew
Blitva – Swiss chard and potatoes
