The historic Oakwood neighborhood is the oldest neighborhood in Raleigh at least partially outside of the original downtown. On this tour, we will discuss the main architectural styles in Oakwood and the stories of the people who built these gorgeous historic homes. In addition, you will see Oakwood's "modern house," which created such a stir in the neighborhood in 2013-14 that the story was reported nationwide.
