Offering public pay-what-you-want walking tours of Downtown Raleigh and the historic Oakwood district on various weekends throughout the year. Group tours are NOT held every single weekend, so please check the website calendar to see when the next walking tour in Raleigh is taking place. No reservations are required! Unless otherwise noted on this page, simply meet me at the designated time at the corner of N. Person Street and Oakwood Avenue (400 N. Person St.), next to the black and gold Historic Oakwood sign. The location is slightly north and east of the back of the Governor’s Mansion. Ample street parking is available in the neighborhood. Tours last between 80 and 110 minutes. Most public tours start and end at the same place. Tour topics may include historic homes, Raleigh's diverse architectural styles, Raleigh history, information about downtown restaurants and businesses, interesting stories, and more!
