Take a relaxing pause on this Valentine’s Day for a beginner-friendly couples yoga class with one of the Current’s experienced yoga instructors, followed by a three-course food education tour of Thailand. Guided by Current co-owner, Nathan Williams, you will start your flavor adventure in the coastal south of Thailand where seafood and spice (to meet your level!) are the predominant flavors. Then, we’ll head to Bangkok in central Thailand where curry paste and jasmine rice will join the palate. Lastly, we’ll end in the mountains in the north of Thailand for comforting noodles and chicken in creamy broth to bring the trip to a finale.
Along the way, Nathan will share stories and pictures from his Thailand travels. Each course will include details on how you can make the dishes we eat at home (but this is a demo-style course so you don’t have to do any of the work, aside from eating!). Food served will be sample-sized portions of 4-5 bites each but you will likely leave full with them combined and a couple of snacks served along the way. You are welcome to bring your own beverages or we have alcohol-free beverages for sale and Roshambo bottle shop is right next door.
