First Friday at The Raleigh Wine Shop: Sean Otwell + Rise Over Run + Alimentari

Join us for August First Friday with art, wine, and handmade pasta all under one roof.

We’re featuring work by Raleigh-based illustrator and designer Sean Otwell, whose work spans illustration, comics, graphic design, and digital art. His work will be on display throughout the shop and in our Green Room.

While you explore the art, Nina Escobar of Rise Over Run Wines will be pouring a free tasting from their globe-spanning portfolio of thoughtfully farmed, minimally manipulated wines from small producers and distinctive vineyard sites.

And come hungry! Starting at 5:00 PM, Chefs Drew Hannon & Aaron Hopp of Alimentari at Left Bank will take over our kitchen with handmade pasta and other Italian favorites. Alimentari, located just around the corner in Transfer Co. Food Hall, is known for its fresh pasta, Italian specialties, whole-animal butchery, and house-made charcuterie.

No reservations needed - everything is first come, first served. Stop in for dinner, taste some great wine, check out Sean’s work, grab a glass, and make us part of your First Friday crawl through Downtown Raleigh.
