Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating a difficult season, or simply finding it hard to feel “merry” this year, you are welcome. You do not need to come with answers or even with a smile—just an open heart.
A Blue Christmas service—sometimes called a Longest Night service—is a reflective and compassionate time of worship created for those who are hurting or carrying burdens during the holidays. You don’t have to be hurting, or lonely, some people just enjoy the quiet calm of this service. Instead of the usual pace and brightness of Christmas festivities, this service offers calm, candlelight, gentle music, scripture readings of comfort, and moments of quiet prayer. It is a space where sadness is honored, where hope is offered, and where we can meet God right in the midst of our struggle.
Please join us on December 24th at noon as we gather to remember that God’s light shines even in the darkest moments. May this service be a gift of peace, comfort, and healing for all who attend.
