The Downtown Raleigh Alliance organized the new Dine + Shop promotion in partnership with participating retailers to drive awareness and traffic to downtown’s growing retail scene during a particularly busy week.
“We really wanted to capitalize on all the crowds coming downtown to eat out during Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week and thought we could give diners a more holistic downtown experience if the shops were open too,” said Stacey Simeone, Marketing Director at the Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week runs through Sunday, August 21 with three different ways to experience downtown cuisine:
- Three-course prix fixe dinner menus for $20 or $30 per person, depending on the venue
- $5 and $10 lunch specials
- NEW THIS YEAR: Taste Carolina Gourmet Food Tours is providing progressive food tour options to sample three or more great downtown restaurants during one guided tour.
