DRA’s Inaugural Women with Vision Lunch Tomorrow

RALEIGH, NC (October 11, 2016)  –  The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is proud to host the inaugural Women with Vision Lunch tomorrow. As a convener of a diverse array of downtown stakeholders, DRA sees this event as an extension of their mission to create an environment of open dialogue.

The event takes place on Wednesday, October 12 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel located at 421 S. Salisbury Street. The luncheon will include a brief networking session, followed by lunch and panel discussion.  We invite the media to attend the discussion that includes six women dedicated to leading the community with a passion for their work and the downtown.  A brief period during the networking session will be made available for media to conduct interviews upon request.

Moderator, Adrienne Cole – Executive Director, Wake County Economic Development

Mary-Ann Baldwin – Council Member, City of Raleigh

Dr. Tashni-Ann Dubroy – President, Shaw University

Kim Hammer – Owner, Bittersweet and Raleighwood Provisions

Gayle Lanier – Senior Vice President of Customer Services, Duke Energy

Caroline Sullivan – Commissioner, Wake County

Their discussion will focus on the similarities and differences of women who lead in the four key sectors of the economy (corporate, government, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial), their leadership styles, and how they support a vibrant downtown.
