DRA to Honor Imprint Winners at State of Downtown, April 30


Five development projects to be recognized for contributing to downtown’s growth

RALEIGH, NC (April 21, 2015) – The Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA), the official nonprofit organization designated to continue the revitalization downtown Raleigh by enhancing its quality of life and contributing to its economic success, will honor five significant construction projects with Imprint Awards at the State of Downtown Raleigh 2015 event, Thursday, April 30. The event is being held from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center.

Five projects all completed in 2014, which attracted over $72.3 million in public and private investments to downtown, will be recognized with prestigious Imprint Awards which honor and celebrate significant contributions to the momentum in downtown Raleigh. This year’s Imprint Award recipients include: Carolina Ale House - LM Restaurants, Citrix, Devon Four25, Hibernian Pub, and McClatchy Interactive.

The State of Downtown event provides a comprehensive market analysis of the growth of Raleigh’s Central Business District (CBD) for the purpose of informing and exploring new partnerships with the investor and real estate community. DRA will provide each attendee with a hard copy of the State of Downtown Raleigh report. The report shows the main market trends impacting the economy of downtown and serves as a useful guide for investors and the community to learn about the growth and success of downtown.

The event will also feature a distinguished panel who will discuss these trends from their own perspective: Pam Blondin - Owner of Deco Raleigh; Jim Greene - Assistant City Manager of Economic Development for the City of Raleigh; Bill King - Planning & Development Manager for Downtown Raleigh Alliance; Ted Klinck - Chief Investment Officer of Highwoods Properties and; Fraser Van Asch - Executive Vice President & General Manager for McClatchy Interactive.
