RALEIGH, NC (August 17, 2016) – The Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) is proud to bring career-minded women together during the inaugural Women with Vision Lunch on Wednesday, October 12 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel located at 421 S. Salisbury Street.
The event creates an environment of open dialogue among those of various ages and industries who value a strong sense of community and seek to gain professional insight from esteemed leaders in the community.
The luncheon will include a brief networking session, followed by a light lunch and panel discussion led by the Executive Director of Wake County Economic Development, Adrienne Cole.
Our distinguished panelists include: Raleigh City Council Member, Mary-Ann Baldwin; Shaw University President, Dr. Tashni-Ann Dubroy; Bittersweet Owner, Kim Hammer; Senior Vice President of Customer Services for Duke Energy, Gayle Lanier; and Wake County Commissioner, Caroline Sullivan. Their discussion will focus on the similarities and differences of women who lead in the four key sectors of the economy (corporate, government, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial), their leadership styles, and how they support a vibrant downtown.
Registration is open through Wednesday, October 5. Admission costs $25 for DRA members, and $35 for non-members.
