Dine Out Downtown Returns with More Dates and More Locations

RALEIGH, NC – Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) is relaunching Dine Out Downtown starting this Saturday, April 3 from 5-9pm. Visitors are invited to enjoy dinner from a Downtown Raleigh restaurant as they dine outdoors on closed streets and listen to live music by local musicians.

The event will take place every Saturday from 5-9pm (weather permitting) in April, May and June and will rotate among four centralized locations downtown – Fayetteville Street District, Warehouse District, Glenwood South and City Market.

There are two ways to participate 1) Look at the list of participating restaurants and check availability for extended outdoor restaurant seating or 2) Get take-out from one of your favorite Downtown Raleigh restaurants and eat outside at an open table provided by DRA.

The season kicks off with the first Dine Out Downtown event this Saturday, April 3 from 5-9pm in the Fayetteville Street District. Parts of Fayetteville, Martin and Hargett streets will be closed before, during and after the event. Glenwood South will host the April 10 event, the Warehouse District on April 17, and Dine Out Downtown will return to Fayetteville Street on April 24.

Alcohol is available for purchase only at restaurants and must be consumed at restaurants. Alcohol cannot be brought past restaurant barricades into open seating in the street.

Dine Out Downtown participants must wear masks when not actively consuming food or beverage. Please practice social distancing and wash or sanitize your hands frequently. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the events.
