10-foot-tall, 1, 250-lb. copper and steel sculpture commissioned for Raleigh's bicentennial in 1992. Dedicated to John Watkins, it is located at Raleigh City Plaza. For First Night Raleigh, it is dropped to welcome the New Year in the style of New York City's Times Square ball drop.
