Oldham & Worth

510 W Cabarrus Street

Once the site of the Oldham & Worth lumber company, and later the offices of general contractor Clancy & Theys, the site at the corner of Cabarrus and West Street is now home to Oldham & Worth apartments, Kane Realty's second mixed-use residential project in the West End. Rough-hewn wood accents nod to the site's lumberyard past, while board-formed concrete, brick, and exposed steel carry the neighborhood's railroad and industrial character into a modern form. The five-story development brings 252 upscale units, from modern studios to spacious three-bedroom residences, along with first-class amenities and ground-floor retail to the neighborhood.
