In honor of Black History Month, we are offering yin yoga, a slow-paced and meditative yoga practice that focuses on deep stretching and relaxation. Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels and can be a therapeutic and rejuvenating experience, promoting a sense of balance and calmness in both the body and mind.
This class is an affinity space for Black and brown folks. This means that we are asking folks to attend class only if they identify as such, so that we can practice in a community based on shared identity.
Current Wellness has chosen to offer sliding scale pricing for this class. We encourage you to choose whichever pricing option feels most right. Pricing runs from $15 to $25.
Dress comfortably. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat or use one of ours!
This class is hosted by Angela Griffin, RYT 500, and Adwoa Asante, one of our Body Liberation Ambassadors.
