On Friday, Personify is pleased to present "Wood Works," an installation of new works by artist Ashley Reynolds, as part of First Friday. The artist will be on hand to speak with visitors about her work which will remain on display through Monday, December 1.
Artist Statement:
"Overalls on, headphones, music loud. Draw, carve, sand, paint, sand, paint, and spray. This is the pattern I use to create my art pieces. My name is Ashley Reynolds. I have used my hands to paint, sew, build a store, and decorate a department center. Now, I'm combining these experiences and shaping them into an expression of craftsmanship and art. I am inspired by all of my previous experiences and careers in fashion, merchandising, and styling. I am motivated by music, the exploration of color combinations, and daring pattern mixing. My art is brought to you with excitement and joy."
