Winter Solstice: Reflection, Tea Ritual + Sound Bath
Celebrate the Winter Solstice: A Season of Rest & Renewal – with an afternoon of reflection, herbal tea ritual, and deep rest as we honor the longest night of the year and welcome the gradual return of the light.
The Winter Solstice invites us to slow down, turn inward, and honor the quiet seasons of our lives. Rather than rushing toward what’s next, we’ll make space for rest, reflection, quiet creativity and the dreams beginning to take shape within us. Just as the earth rests and refuels through winter before new growth emerges, we can use this season to reconnect with ourselves, explore what we hope to nurture, and allow our intentions to unfold in their own time.
Our time together will include:
A Winter Solstice herbal tea ritual: Gather in circle to share a thoughtfully crafted seasonal tea inspired by the themes of the winter solstice. You’ll have the opportunity to choose the blend that speaks to you the most.
Guided journaling and personal reflection: Make space to explore your dreams and reconnect with what matters to you, and consider what you’d like to mull over in this season. Community sharing will be optional. Please bring a journal or paper and a pen or pencil.
A winter dream practice: Put your dreams for the year ahead into words. We’ll create space to acknowledge what is beginning to take shape within us, without the pressure to make a plan or take immediate action.
A grounding sound bath: Settle into deep rest and allow yourself time to integrate, receive, and simply be.
We’ll also create a shared space to honor the turning of the season. You’re invited to bring a small, meaningful object that represents a dream, hope, or intention you’d like to nurture through the winter months. You’ll take your object home as a gentle reminder that some things need time, stillness, and care before they’re ready to grow.
Whether you’re seeking rest, reflection, connection, or a meaningful way to honor the changing season, this gathering offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and welcome the Winter Solstice with intention.
Additional herbal tea blends may be available for purchase for those who wish to bring a little of the ritual into their own winter practice.
