Join us at Slim’s on September 5th for the second day of Hopscotch Day Parties from 12pm-5pm! Wake Forest Listening Room’s mission is to give musicians a “sacred space” to share their art, and founder Mike Allen is bringing four amazing artists to Slim’s to do just that! Starting the party at 12:00pm is Pillow Foot, a band of four veterans making indie music. At 1:00pm is Knockout Artist who soulfully combines the sounds of garage punk and outlaw country. At 2:00pm is Bass Battery, a bass and drums duo. Peter Holsapple comes on stage at 3:00pm. Known for his time in his band The DB’s, contributions to R.E.M., and many other projects, he’s bringing out his rock roots for the party. We’ve got a great lineup by WFLR, come grab a drink and soak in the music!
