Genealogy research requires hard work, persistence, creativity, and often courage - no two stories are exactly alike!

The State Library and State Archives of North Carolina, in partnership with the Capital City Juneteenth Celebration Committee, present a Lunch and Learn panel of veteran family history researchers. The panelists will offer research strategies and share their own experiences untangling the intersected knots of history, memory, and surviving records to reveal their ancestral roots. A question and answer session with panelists and staff of the SLNC and SANC will follow.

Speakers: Cheryl Williams, Emerson Foster, and Lisa Withers.

This is a hybrid program; join us in room 208 at the SLNC Government & Heritage Library or tune in to the livestream on the State Library of North Carolina's YouTube page.
