Join Imurj for the First Friday reception celebrating the opening of The Ex Exhibit! They will have fresh art up in the gallery, live music, and plenty of booze for you to drown your Valentine's Day woes. Julia Hader + friends will be jamming live during the reception.
Come out for the live music, stay for the boozy ice cream floats. This event is free and open to the public!
Julia is a singer/songwriter from right here in Raleigh with musical inspiration from Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, and Janis Joplin. Her original music consists of everything from mental awareness, romance, health issues, and comedy, to the joys in everyday life. Through music, she wants to share with others to be grateful and to live in the moment.
About the Ex Exhibit: The Ex Exhibit will take place from February 5-29, 2020 in the main gallery of Imurj. The Ex Exhibit is about your relationships that have come to an end, no matter how that end occurred. Whether you still love them, or love to hate them, they want to see your artwork about it. All visual mediums are accepted including 2D visual artwork, digital illustration, mixed media, statues, pottery, crafts, costume, and more.
