Burning Coal invites middle school students from 6th through 8th grades to join Summer Theatre Conservatory, Jr. Each year, the conservatory spends two weeks learning clowning, movement, voice production, theatre games and improvisation.
STC, Jr. runs weekdays from 10 am – 3 pm, with morning theatre games and classes, and afternoon rehearsals. During rehearsals, students work on creating their own play! On the evening of the final day, students present the play that they have created themselves using those newly learned skills.
Deadline to sign up: June 12
Fee: $295, with $100 due upon application and the remainder due by the first day of class. Partial scholarships available upon request.
