Seafood ceviche and poke are light and fresh summer meals (or appetizers), but it’s often confusing which fish or shellfish to use and how to season and prepare these dishes. This class will demystify these choices and you’ll learn hands-on how to make three different types of ceviche, poke and crudo using raw fish and shellfish.
In addition to learning how to select species of local North Carolina seafood, the class will also cover how to use fresh produce (either from the farmers market or the garden) in ceviche for a delicious summer feast! This class will be taught by Eric Montagne, Locals Seafood Executive Chef, and Current co-owner, Nathan Williams. You’re welcome to bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages; there’s also beverages available for purchase at the Current or next door at Roshambo Beverage Company.
Cost: $75 per person (or $140 per couple)
