At the end of August, we’ll be treated to a viewing of a Super Blue Moon, which will appear bigger and brighter than usual due to its close proximity to Earth. Join Raleigh Astronomy Club for spectacular views of the Super Blue Moon and starry skies from the rooftop of The Willard on Thursday, August 31, from 8-10pm.
RAC will have telescopes and hobby astronomers on hand to guide your stargazing and answer questions, and The Willard will offer celestial-inspired cocktail specials for you to enjoy while you take in the skies.
This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
