PLEASE NOTE: Due to cloudy weather and low visibility, this event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, October 4.

September is Saturn’s month to shine! Having recently reached opposition (an exciting celestial event that occurs when Saturn and the Sun are on opposite sides of the Earth) it will be perfectly positioned for prime viewing at this month’s stargazing event.

Join Raleigh Astronomy Club for spectacular views of Saturn and the starry skies from the rooftop of The Willard on Wednesday, October 4, from 7:30-9:30pm.

RAC will have telescopes and hobby astronomers on hand to guide your stargazing and answer questions, and The Willard will offer celestial-inspired cocktail specials for you to enjoy while you take in the skies.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
