Have you been wanting to practice gratitude more? Do you sometimes feel down during this time of year? If so, you were led here for a reason.
Sounds of Gratitude, which will take place during Gratitude Month, is an empowering and calming sound bath experience where you can learn more about the benefits of gratitude, simple ways to practice gratitude, and receive tips for starting or deepening a gratitude practice. Whether you are spending the upcoming holiday alone, with family, or with loved ones, come share space with us as we collectively practice gratitude, battle seasonal blues, and experience the peace and calm of a sound bath.
During this experience, you will have the opportunity to set intentions, experience a full sound bath, and fellowship with other beautiful souls all while practicing gratitude! Some of the benefits of this experience include:
- Dedicated space for reflection
- Mental clarity
- Stress relief
- Feeling grounded
- A sense of empowerment as you set intentions for yourself and your experience
The sound bath will utilize quartz crystal singing bowls and other musical instruments to calm the mind and the body and help you attune to the mind-body connection. Sound healing/therapy is based on the premise of resonance, which means to vibrate at the same frequency as whatever instruments are being used to guide the experience. Some benefits of sound baths include decreased anxiety and stress, deep relaxation, improved sleep, and the energy centers (chakras) in the body coming into alignment.
You will need to bring an open mind, a blanket to sit or lie down on, water to hydrate, and paper or a journal and writing utensil. Other common companions are crystals/gemstones, essential oils, and eye masks. Feel free to bring whatever else you might need to feel safe and comfortable. Some yoga mats and cushions will be provided.
Cost: $30 for non-members, $24 for members. Complementary hot tea will be offered before the sound bath.
