One of our favorite things at DRINK is sharing our passion for wines while supporting a worthy cause, such as the Frankie Lemmon School and Developmental Center.

Donelan Family Wines
Donelan Family Wines is a small, boutique Sonoma winery producing Syrah, Grenache, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Roussanne and Viognier. They prize quality over all other factors. Wine should taste great — with every vintage and every grape, this is their ultimate priority and greatest motivation.

Believing that the best wines are not made but discovered. Taking pride in harnessing the greatest qualities and natural variations in a vineyard and a variety. The Donelan family makes wines with patience, embracing the mystery of what nature gives.

Founder Joe Donelan got his start in winemaking not in the California fields but in the backyard of his parent’s Michigan home. Joe’s career started at a Michigan winery, but eventually lead him to Napa Valley and then Donelan Wines where he honed his craft. Today, Joe oversees every aspect of the winemaking process, while his sons Tripp and Cushing Donelan handle the sales and marketing for the winery.

Cushing Donelan brings diverse experience in brand development and entertainment production to his role at Donelan Family Wines. Cushing says “My biggest desire is that our customers know and trust the Donelan label, so that when they open a bottle they know it is going to be a great wine. They smile because they are confident in our family’s brand and then they share with their own circle of friends and family.”

DRINK loves to support small production, family wineries with interesting stories. Donelan Family Wines knows that everything will be all right, all right if you just let the grapes do their thing. We cannot wait to share these wines with you as Cushing pours three of their highly allocated wines - 2018 Two Brothers Pinot, 2017 Cuvee Moriah and 2017 Kobler Family Syrah – while sharing “Stories from the Bottle”. Plan to come by early as due to the limited nature of these wines, once they are gone - they are gone.
