Are you interested in running but don’t know where to begin? Maybe you’ve tried run clubs in the past but have felt intimidated or completely left behind by the pace groups. Or, maybe running has been connected to punishment or weight loss. Running doesn’t have to be like that! In this six-week series, we will break down the barriers that make running feel inaccessible, covering the foundations of stretching and proper cross training, and will provide a fun and welcoming space for runners of all abilities to move at their own pace. This is a size-inclusive series that will focus on reclaiming running (and walking and jogging) to feel empowered in our bodies.
Join us on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. We will begin with a warm-up and discussion, and then head outside for a walk/run. This is suited for people new to running, as well as folks who’s pace is more than 12 minutes/mile. In addition to our weekly sessions, you will be able to book up to 3 yoga or strength training classes that will support your running journey. Lastly, week two will include a mini workshop on injury prevention from one of our physical therapists, Caitlin Greenstein.
This six week series begins May 2nd and will meet every Tuesday 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Early bird pricing $95 before April 15th; $120 regular price
Price includes 6 sessions on Tuesday evenings plus 3 yoga or strength training sessions of your choosing.
