According to a recent study published in Scientific American, the bird population in the US and Canada has declined by approximately 3 billion, or 29% since 1970. Edde Burgess, Raleigh native and wildlife photographer, has been capturing images of birds and other wildlife for years and has compiled an artistic, richly colored exhibit on view for the month of December.
