Meaningful Laughs returns on August 29th with a night dedicated to menopause wellness. This month’s show brings one hundred percent menopause stories to the stage, because let’s be honest, most women don’t want to talk about perimenopause or menopause. The mustaches, the mustiness, the joints that suddenly make you move like you’re ninety, nobody signs up to discuss that willingly. So we’re going to laugh about it instead. After the laughs, we’re keeping the night going with a community conversation, an open space for women to ask questions and share their own perimenopause journeys. Non-alcholic beverages will be available, and feel free to BYOB if you want to bring your own cocktails. This show is for anyone middle aged or heading that way, because laughing at the hard stuff is part of preparing for it. And men, you’re invited too, you’ll walk away understanding your wife, sister, or coworker a little better, and yes, we’ll even touch on andropause, what men go through in midlife. Everyone’s welcome, everyone will laugh, and everyone will leave a little more aware.

About Meaningful Laughs and Julie Osborne

As a stand-up comedian since 2011, performing at comedy clubs, corporate events, and private gigs, I've learned that the most powerful comedy is the kind that means something. Meaningful Laughs is a comedy show rooted in intentional, healing laughter.
Through raw, true stories from my personal self-care journey, I explore what self-care really means — beyond the stereotypes. I share the unconventional, unexpected things that have genuinely helped me experience healing, from setting boundaries to embracing your authentic self, even when it feels weird and awkward.

Why Current Wellness?

I partnered with Current Wellness because their model of providing physical, mental, and emotional wellness to the community perfectly aligns with my vision. Meaningful Laughs brings healing, education, and transformative self-care to audiences, and together, we're creating a space where laughter becomes medicine, vulnerability becomes strength, and self-care becomes something real, honest, and accessible to everyone.

Community Conversation
Immediately following the show, we'll gather for a Community Conversation — an open space where you can share feedback, ask questions, discuss your own self-care journey, or simply connect with others around what self-care means to you.
