Join us June 18-20th, to celebrate the legacy of Emancipation at the Pope House Museum, the historic home of Dr. Manassa T. Pope and his family. The Pope House Museum will be hosting a three-day long celebration of Emancipation Day and its legacy in North Carolina by featuring rare artifacts, special guest speakers, exclusive guided tours, and various activity stations. In addition, we will also be hosting a children's craft station, information tables with local community organizations, self-guided tours of both the Pope House Museum and Dr. Pope's Neighborhood Historic 3rd Ward Tour.
This three-day weekend long event is free and open to the public!
Dates & Times: Friday, June 18th, 10am-3pm. Saturday, June 19th, 9am-4pm. Sunday, June 20th, 12pm-4pm.
