In 1996, Secretary of State Elaine F. Marshall became the first woman elected to a statewide, executive branch office in North Carolina and has served as President of the National Association of Secretaries of State. A former teacher, small business owner, and private practice attorney, Secretary Marshall was elected to the NC State Senate before rising to statewide office.
Under Secretary Marshall’s administration, more than 1.8 million businesses have been formed, she has pioneered e-commerce in government, protected investors and intellectual property owners, and promoted financial capital formation in North Carolina.
Triangle Business Journal’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Women in Business, and was a 2018 Inductee for the NC Women Business Owners Hall of Fame. She has also received Lifetime Achievement Awards from North Carolina 4-H and the National 4-H Hall of Fame. She has received Honorary Doctorate Degrees from Campbell University, Lees-McRae College, Meredith College and the Republic of Moldova State University of Medicine.

Julia Kelley-Swift is the Coordinator at the Durham Tech Small Business Center. The Small Business Center (SBC) provides startup and existing entrepreneurs (for profit and nonprofit) with the information and tools needed to develop business ideas to become viable, sustainable, profitable, and successful. Through the services provided by the SBC, entrepreneurs receive assistance with several business areas including, but not limited to, business planning, marketing, legal, accounting, and financial management.

Named one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by the National Trial Lawyers Association, Anna Smith Felts has dedicated her practice to helping others and litigating criminal defense cases from traffic to murder. Anna earned her Juris Doctorate from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University (2001) and also attended Notre Dame School of Law in London, England where she studied International Human Rights and Comparative Family Law.
Upon graduation, she worked as a trial lawyer for former District Court Jerry Leonard until she hung her own shingle in 2005, focusing her practice on criminal defense cases in District and Superior Courts. For more than 20 years, she has been involved in numerous high-profile cases and frequently acts as an on-air legal consultant for CNN, Court TV, HLN, and several local news channels. Anna has been recognized for her dedication to her clients and her expertise in criminal law. She has won numerous awards in her field, serves on multiple charitable Boards and regularly teaches criminal defense to many top NC organizations.

Adriana Lanzas is a Business Counselor at the Small Business and Technology Development Center at NC State.
The primary mission of the SBTDC is to support economic development in the state by providing assistance in the start-up, successful operation and expansion of small and mid-size businesses and by facilitating technology development and transfer within the state's small business community.
Adriana was born in Nicaragua and attended the University of Florida, where she majored in Sociology with a concentration in Food and Resource Economics and Latin American Studies. She has been a Small Business owner herself. She currently serves in the Black Wall Street Cities Forward Council for the City of Raleigh, and has a particular interest in helping minorities and immigrants become integrated to the economic fabric of the State, thrive and succeed.

Marie-Claire Ribeill was Born in Millau in the South of France.
After obtaining an “agrégation” degree in English, she first taught English in Paris and then moved to England where she lived for 3 years. In 1993, she returned to France for 4 years to teach English. She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1998 where she currently resides.Marie-Claire worked for several non-profit organizations, worked as a docent at the NC Museum of Art and the NC Museum of History, and became very active in the French community in North Carolina, especially in Raleigh. Her involvement was noticed, and she was named Honorary Consul of France, in 2010. She extended her role to assisting French Companies looking to move or expand their activities in the US, including SKEMA Business School for which she started working as professor, then Development and External Relations officer, on their Raleigh campus. In March 2018 she became Executive Director of the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Carolinas (FACCC), until 2021.In 2009 she started and found financing for L’école- French School of Raleigh, a full immersion French school. The school now has130 students with a fully licensed pre-school, a bilingual primary school, summer camps and afterschool programs and tutoring. It aims to become the French High School of Raleigh by 2030. Marie-Claire is currently its Executive Director.
In 2017, she was involved in securing the funding of a building which is serving as La Maison de France and houses L’école and several French non-profit organizations including FACCC and the Alliance Française.Marie-Claire Ribeill is the secretary of the Consular Corps of NC. _________________________________________________________________

Entertainment by Tyler Butler-Figueroa, a 15-year-old violinist from Raleigh NC. Tyler is a Leukemia Cancer Survivor, diagnosed at the age of 4 1/2, underwent 3 years of Chemotherapy and is now almost 8 years Cancer Free. Tyler is a freshman at Enloe High School. Tyler has been playing the violin for almost 8 years.
Tyler was a top 10 Finalist on the reality tv show America's Got Talent in 2019 and received the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell, Tyler performed on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Tyler performed 6 shows in Las Vegas with AGT Live On Stage and Tyler competed on America's Got Talent The Champions Edition in 2020 and finished 3rd place.
