Details
This intermediate class will both deepen students’ understanding of the memoir genre and allow them to explore other types of creative nonfiction. Craft talks will include activities on deepening emotion, different types of structure, the publishing landscape, and, most importantly, revision. Students will be expected to write and workshop one essay or piece and also revise a separate piece. This class is intended for students who have either taken our introductory memoir course or other memoir classes in the past.
