Details
Transport your family to another universe during Galactic Family Day. Join Artspace and partners for an extraterrestrial day featuring exhibitions by local artists, hands-on art making activities, artist demos, and live performances. Meet and shop with our 30+ studio artists while enjoying cosmic snacks.
Admission is free but registration is required. Donations are always welcome!
Family Day Experiences
-Explore the Fluxum’s Frolic exhibition with work by Eric and Morgan Grasham and additional exhibitions by local artists
-Go to the moon with a special installation by community artist Katie Stewart
-Create your own Fluxum, a small charismatic alien to take home
-Enjoy an out of this world acrobat performance by Cirque du Vol
-Learn about the stars and participate in a solar viewing with Raleigh Astronomy Club
-Take part in artist-led demonstrations
-Meet and shop with our 30+ studio artists and purchase your favorite 3-D printed characters with Wake2Print
-Enjoy cosmic snacks while supplies last
-Check out the Artspace On The Go van
-Cosplay is highly encouraged (No scary masks please)
