Interested in learning more about the Civil Rights Era and what influence it had in Raleigh, North Carolina? Join the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum for a night of conversation inside the new Civil Rights exhibit, Let Us March On. Our featured guest will be Joe Holt, Jr. whose family lead the charge to desegregate schools in Raleigh on the basis that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to receive a good education. To learn more about Mr. Holt’s story and his family’s legacy, come spend the evening with us.

• First look at our newly redesigned exhibit about the Civil Rights in Raleigh
• Listen to a conversation lead by Michael S. Williams, founder of the Black-on-Black Project, with Joe Holt Jr.,
