Did you know Downtown Raleigh has seven Black-led art organizations including 311 Gallery, Artsplosure, Artspace, CAM Raleigh, Good Trip Gallery, TheGifted Arts, and VAE Raleigh?!?!

To celebrate this moment and Juneteenth, Artspace and CAM Raleigh are teaming up to host For the Culture Crawl on Friday, June 16 from 5-8pm. Between stops at the art destinations, grab a to go drink from a participating Sip n' Stroll bar or restaurant, shop with Black-owned businesses, and see public artwork created by Black artists. This event is free, but registering will help us to anticipate attendance.

How does For the Culture Crawl work?
Step #1: Grab a drink from a Sip n’ Stroll participating business
Step #2: Stop by Artspace, tour their exhibitions, and enjoy music by Rony Thomas
Step #3: Take a photo with your favorite public artwork by a Black artist (See below) and share with us using #DTRCultureCrawl
Step #4: Shop with local Black owned businesses (See below)
Step #5: End the crawl at CAM Raleigh, explore their exhibitions, and groove to sounds by DJ K-Ward
