Are you feeling pressure to set certain goals this January? Do you have friends doing a detox or a cleanse? Are you looking for answers about how to start your year right?

Join Current Wellness for a 1-hour guided discussion where we will unpack the diet culture B.S. that surrounds us every January.

What does the science really say about food and wellness? What changes actually are impactful to our health?

This event will be led by the experts: Adwoa Asante and Debra Buchanan are the Current's Body Liberation Ambassadors and Kathleen Terracina is our Intuitive Eating Counselor. We are here to have compassionate conversations and to tease apart societal expectations from our own personal desires.

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, intuitive eating is about trusting your body to make food choices that feel good for you, without judging yourself or the influence of diet culture. And intuitive eating is backed by science. Now that's what we call a New Year's resolution!

This is a free event for First Friday!
