Celebrate the Start of Women History Month with Two Fantastic Women of Wine, Annabel Butler and Sandy Bridger.
Greek wines have been around for four millennia, however they are a bit overlooked today. They may be the most underrated on the planet. Why? This is a mystery, perhaps the oracle at Delphi might have an answer. Since it is hard to get her on a Zoom these days, DRINK has invited our friend and Women of Wine, Annabel Butler, to answer your questions.
Annabel is a Raleigh native with a passion for Greek wines and Mediterranean food. Butler previously managed the wine list at Il Palio, Chapel Hill's only AAA Four Diamond Italian Restaurant, and has a respectable wine background, becoming a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommelier in July of 2019. In addition to eating pasta, studying for her next exam, and selling high quality grape juice, Annabel is a new mom, with her son turning one later this month!
