Making art is expensive, or rather, buying traditional art supplies is. Having to choose between being creative or buying groceries is frustrating. We’re grateful that the Scrap Exchange gives us a third option. They remind us that art can be made from inexpensive and unconventional materials, and they carefully curate them just for that purpose. For the month of April, we’re honoring their non-profit work by hosting a gallery show called “Scrap”. Come see art created in the spirit of thoughtful reuse! This is also a great chance to show our support by helping to raise money for Scrap Exchange. Many of this month’s artists have volunteered to give or share their sales with Scrap Exchange, and CoLab will donate 100% of our sketch wall sales so they can continue to help us all “Make art, not trash!
