Shakespeare wrote that art is a mirror. There's no doubt that one of art's superpowers is the ability to reflect the world back, be it internal or external, to the artist and subsequently the viewer. It's a tool for both contemplation and revealing new perspectives, taking a fresh look at what's been hiding from us in plain sight. For the month of August our gallery theme is "Reflective" and we're showing art that comes from a place of self discovery, unique points of view, or is shiny!
CoLab also hosts the amazing Five Dollar Sketch Wall- a novel way to build your art collection (even if you're broke) and help support CoLab at the same time, thanks to generous donations from our artists!
