During the season of hyper-commercialism, CoLab is celebrating the intrinsic value of art. Artists often feel like they're underselling themselves, and the price they put on their work rarely reflects its true value. To us, anyone who makes the effort to express their unique vision, in spite of an environment that doesn't support it, is priceless! Priceless to the community they're a part of and priceless to the people around them they quietly inspire. With this show we're freeing art from the burden of monetization and turning the conversation back to its true worth. Nothing will be for sale. Come see work that's too personal or experimental to sell and learn the stories behind our priceless art community!
Appreciation Wall: In the spirt of art appreciation over consumerism, we won't be selling sketches this month. Instead, we're converting our sketch wall into a way for artists to express their appreciation of art, artists, and our community!
