The human form has been a source of inspiration and exploration for as long as people have been making art. This fascination with ourselves is stronger than ever, as we see every week at our very own Drink and Draw. We are excited to announce our third annual "Figured Out" exhibit this May, and the show is bigger than ever before! We have over 30 artists showcasing a wide range of interpretations of the human figure ranging from classic techniques to abstract and experimental approaches in an outstanding show!
And on First Friday, come paint with us! You can show us what moves you by contributing to our collaborative painting! There's also the amazing Five Dollar Sketch Wall- a novel way to build your art collection (even if you're broke) and help support CoLab at the same time, thanks to generous donations from our artists!
The Carter Building will be hopping Friday! While you're here, visit our awesome neighbors throughout the building!
