First Friday Raleigh
First Friday is celebrated on the first Friday of each month throughout Downtown Raleigh to showcase the best of our city's creative community. Thousands venture downtown to visit art galleries & studios open late to host exhibits, artist talks, and creative activities. Retailers and restaurants also get in on the fun with live music, vendor markets, specials/discounts, and more. There's something for everyone each First Friday.

We’re raising the par on your First Friday plans
Meet us in Bloc[83] at the ArtPutt presented by UNC Health Championship tee-off party and celebrate the return of this surrealist pop-up experience where every hole doubles as a work of art. The playable mini-golf course features installations by local artists that highlight the color, creativity, and character of North Carolina.
Play your way through ArtPutt, sip on NC-crafted beer, shop a curated local vendor market, listen to live music by Relay Relay, and explore the surrounding small businesses that make downtown thrive, all while enjoying everything May First Friday sponsored by the NC Courage has to offer.
