Raleigh's Figulina has launched a special Aperitivo menu, available from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Inspired by the Italian tradition of pre-meal drinks and snacks, the light menu of sips and snacks celebrates the ritual of Aperitivo, which comes from the Latin word meaning "to open"—a delightful way to prepare the palate before dinner. Figulina's Apertivo menu includes:
• Aperol Spritz (Aperol and Prosecco), $16
• Old Pal (Rye Whiskey, Campari, Bordiga and Bianco), $18
• Negroni (Campari, Gin and Cocchi Torino), $16
• Paper Plane (Nonino Amaro, Bourbon, Aperol and lemon), $16
• Hugo Spritz (St. Germain elderflower liqueur, Prosecco and mint), $14
• House focaccia with extra virgin olive oil, $5
• Marinated Castelvetrano olives, $5
• Lady Edison fancy shaved country ham, $8
• Ricotta-stuffed Mejool dates with hazelnuts and orange syrup, $6
