Join us Friday, December 4th from 6-9PM for the premiere of Sasha Bakaric's ceramic artwork series. Sasha's inspiration comes from microscopic images of cells and microorganisms - the basis of all life. She loves the idea of questioning our relationship with the world inside us. Her work is very much process driven with images and forms spontaneously coming as she works. Sasha mostly works with white stoneware coated with terra sigillata. She uses slip trailing, sgraffito and various commercial and custom glazes to build intricate surfaces. All her work is fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. *Please note: Masks, social distancing and other safety measures will continue to be in effect for this event.*
