Celebrate Día de los Muertos with us at the 14th Annual Day of the Dead 5K & Street Festival on Saturday, October 31, 2026! This family-friendly downtown Raleigh tradition brings together fitness, culture, and community while raising funds to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake & Johnston Counties.

The day begins at Centro Mexican Restaurant with a scenic 5K through the historic Oakwood neighborhood and cemetery. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy the post-race festivities, celebrate award winners, and runners ages 21 and older can enjoy a complimentary beer courtesy of Trophy Brewing.

The fun continues with a free street festival on Wilmington Street between Hargett and Morgan Streets. Browse local artisans and vendors, enjoy delicious food from Centro and food trucks, experience live music and traditional cultural performances, admire beautiful Día de los Muertos altars honoring loved ones, and join in family-friendly activities, including our crowd-favorite costume dance contest.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, cheering on a runner, or simply looking for a unique way to experience one of Raleigh's most colorful fall traditions, the Day of the Dead 5K & Street Festival offers something for everyone.
