Join us on September 11th from 9pm-11pm to see Chris Black and Electric Ladyman, two local Raleigh artists! Chris Black is a multi-instrumentalist composer with roots that stretch from Austin to Paris to right here in Wake County. Over the years, he’s been part of bands like Shoulders, Les Wampas, Golden Arm Trio, and Taraf de Tucson, and even launched his own alt-classical DIY chamber series, ChamberLab. He blends raw talent with restless creativity. Joining the set is Electric Ladyman, a Raleigh-based band stacked with veterans of the local and regional underground projects like Phononova, Savage Knights, Baamphf!, The Volcanoes, Olympus Mons, and more. Members are Chris Pilione and Steve Graham on guitar and vocals, Scott Gilliam on bass, and Mike Isenberg on drums. Bringing so much energy to each live set, they deliver a sound that’s heavy, absurd, and unshakably alive.
